PROFESSIONAL BIO
Allison Knott, MS, RDN, CSSD is a registered dietitian and board certified specialist in sports nutrition based in New York City. She has a demonstrated history working in the food and beverage industry supporting corporate wellness initiatives. Her sports nutrition experience ranges from working with collegiate athletes on proper fueling to providing food and nutrition program support for a variety of professional sports teams. Allison is an experienced nutrition consultant and speaker. She has been featured in multiple television segments and in national publications including EatingWell, POPSUGAR, TIME Health, Shape, MyFitnessPal, and Boston Magazine. In 2016, Allison started ANEWtrition, a consulting practice dedicated to delivering authentic, relatable, and consistent nutrition and wellness solutions.
Allison received her bachelors of science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga which was followed by a dietetic internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She went on to complete a master of science in Nutrition Communication from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University in Boston, MA. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and has served as the Assistant Editor of the Wellness and Cardiovascular subunit newsletter for the Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition Dietetic practice group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and as the President of the Chattanooga Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
